The American California Common Core is a set of standards for each subject which identifies benchmarks that should be met by certain grade levels. It is not itself a curriculum. Therefore, the Common Core Standards are not a directive that the teachers and students must adhere to in a restrictive manner. This program gives us the freedom to be creative and enrich the curriculum as we see fit so our students receive the attention and information they need to succeed.

Sometimes, in bigger classes it is common for the progress of children to get overlooked. Sometimes teachers have too many students to supervise. The one element setting Buds International apart from many schools here in Phuket is that we have small classes with more dedicated lessons. Children are given more attention here because our teacher’s have only a few students to supervise and therefore can give more care to nurturing the development needs of every child. This is applied so that the children can thrive and progress quickly in the classroom.
